Operations Manager

C&M Seeds is currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team in the position of Operations Manager at our Palmerston (Ontario) location.  This position is responsible for overseeing and managing our seed plant, and seed processing and packaging needs to ultimately ensure an adequate supply of quality seed is available to meet company sales goals.  This is a full-time position with benefits.

Essential job responsibilities include - Oversee and coordinate day-to-day activities of the seed plant - Meet organizational safety requirements by leading safety effort in plant, including safety training of plant staff and job specific training - Meet organizational requirements for company Quality Assurance Program including maintaining current SOP’s, documentation and training of staff - Oversee product quality control as it pertains to cleaning, grading and seed treatment of end product to meet company’s quality assurance program.
