Randstad Staffing, Canada's #1 Integrated Staffing firm is actively recruiting for Part-time Kitchen Stewards to work for one of our clients in Halifax, Nova Scotia. These are casual positions and will be on an event by event basis starting ASAP. These positions require the successful candidates to perform the following duties:
•Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen, service corridors and storage areas as directed.
•Clean and sanitize all dishes, table tops & equipment as directed.
•Sweeping and mopping large areas.
•Assist with plate up at lunch service.
Advantages

• Paid Weekly + 4% Vacation Pay

Qualifications
• Dress code: Black t-shirt (must cover shoulders) and black pants, baseball cap for sanitary purposes
• Hours of operation vary, and staff will be required to work early morning, late night, weekends and holidays
• Required to wear safety shoes (steel-toe boots or shoe caps)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods of time
• Ability to push and pull wheeled catering equipment weighing over 200 lbs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
