The Business Manager will be responsible for the day to day financial & operational activities. She/he will manage a series of cross-functional individuals to achieve the financial targets within the designated timeframe. Will plan, lead, and control all operations as established in procedures and guidelines set by the Company in the areas of: risk, people, equipment, material and environmental safety, cost performance, asset utilization, and customer product and service delivery - Financial Reporting - Serves as the primary contact for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting - Accurate reporting of monthly results, free of material miss-statement - Provides WO financial information to DNA corporate - To ensure that the WO adheres to DNA accounting policies (must be supported by the GM). Disciplinary actions will be taken where non-compliance occurs - Manage AR, which includes - Payment Term Compliance, Credit Limit development and compliance - Monitor inventory balances - Trade Working Capital target management, obsolesce oversight & verification of quantity on hand - Manage controls of the WO assets (asset verifications, useful lives, sales / transfer).Oversee the Budgeting & Forecasting for the region including Volume, Sales, COGS and operational expenses - Oversee any internal / external audits for the WO including timely action on any findingsOversight of any business system implementation - Would like a background in explosives - Operational &/or Commercial experience, Small Business Management - Bachelor Degree required in Finance or Accounting, MBA or other master's degree preferred. experience in explosives, mining or construction industry - Experience with P&L ownership and analysis, financial reporting, product pricing (retail), regulatory compliance and human resources
