Adecco is currently hiring several temporary full-time Bilingual (ENG/FR) Inbound Customer Service Professionals for our top banking client for locations in Saint John, NB and Halifax, NS. Our client is a large, reliable, and reputable organization within the financial services industry. Are you a critical thinker with good problems solving skills?   • Pay rate: $25.00/hour
  • Location: Saint John, NB OR Halifax, NS (hybrid role (1 day in the office / 4 days' remote, subject to change)
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Or Tuesday to Saturday 11:00am to 7:00pm. Evening shifts are available if preferred by candidate - Mon to Fri 1:00pm - 9:00pm

  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high level of service to external and internal clients in explaining claims procedures and coverage and offer clear and complete information based on client needs
  • Record the accident or loss situation into the system with accurate and detailed information to determine the cause of loss, bodily injury, accident benefits and extensive property damage exposure
  • Identify appropriate services required by the client for example, emergency services, appraisal, rental vehicle, towing services etc.
  • Take appropriate action to complete various insurance claims transactions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure missing policies are offered to clients
  • Proactively work to identify and correct customer issues, resolve customer complaints and concerns, and coordinate with other staff and departments as required
  • Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of high school required post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service/call center environment/ or an admin role highly preferred
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and verbal) mandatory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Tech Savvy and a quick learner (able to learn a new software tool and navigate comfortably)
  • Ability to interpret the standard automobile policy and residential policy wordings is considered an asset
  • Previous Insurance industry experience desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with peers and other teams
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
