Quality Engineer I

Job Description

Black box and white box testing experience with a complete QA cycle including testing, defect tracking, and bug verification. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities, as well as a positive learning mindset.

Practical expertise with quality assurance, including functional, system, smoke, regression, and integration testing, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and compatibility testing of web and client server-based applications.

Applied all aspects of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Bug Life Cycle, and Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.

Worked on building Selenium Web Automation testing for at most 4 years

Familiarity with Agile methodologies as well as automation tools. Writing basic SQL queries to retrieve data, and using joins to obtain data from multiple tables.

Hands on experience of the Salesforce CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application.

Worked on Salesforce's Sales and Service Cloud Platform testing.

Automated Salesforce objects (Accounts, Opportunities, Sales Calls, Reports, Lead and other standard as well as custom objects).

Knowledge of Postman for functional testing, data driven testing, load testing, and WSDL validation.

Generated Defect Reports, as well as the application's summary and progress graphs.

Utilizing Postman, executed manual test cases for REST API.

Job Requirements

Experience and/or Education

4+ years of expertise in manual and automated functional testing of AUTs using Rest Assured API Automation, Selenium WebDriver, and Junit/TestNG testing framework.

BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience

3-5 years of relevant experience
