Department Summary:
The Risk, Audit, and Sustainability ("RAS") division partners with the business to create a risk-engaged culture, provide insights to mitigate threats and seize opportunities, and assess the company's risk landscape relative to stakeholder expectations. Responsible for the second line oversight of financial and non-financial risk management across the IGM group of companies, the division also has responsibility for the Corporate Sustainability, CSOX, and Insurance programs and administrative oversight of the IGM Internal Audit function.

The Professional Services team is a division-wide shared service. The Senior Associate, Risk and Audit Professional Services is responsible for providing support services to the RAS division, as well as the Risk Management department ("Risk function") specifically. Key responsibilities include support of Risk Management processes and methodology, governance reporting, financial budgeting, and office management/administration.

Duties include:
  • Prepare reporting for Risk committees and other stakeholders including:Facilitate/support processes to enable timely and efficient reporting.Prepare, consolidate, and edit report content; generate charts, tables and graphs; and utilize data visualization techniques to convey impactful messages.
  • Provide support for development and maintenance of Risk methodology, processes, policies, frameworks, and information repositories.
  • Develop and maintain templates for use in risk management processes.
  • Consolidate data across individual risk categories and companies to support aggregated analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate and support the preparation and presentation of the financial budgets for the individual functions within the RAS division as well as the consolidated budget for the division. In addition, track and monitor expenses and prepare analysis and reporting to aid with expense management.
  • Manage division-wide administrative processes including facilitating onboarding and offboarding, managing system access requests, expense reports, equipment needs, and information services.
  • Perform calendar management/meeting coordination and travel arrangements for select members of RAS Senior Management.
  • Develop and implement new ideas and methods related to internal processes/procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform/contribute to other special projects for the RAS division as required.


  • Qualifications include:
  • Education Post-secondary education in a relevant business field
  • Experience Minimum 5 years relevant experience, working in an office environment
  • Technical Knowledge and Skills Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint) skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsHigh degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with senior levels of managementStrong organizational and time management skills including the ability to manage several priorities, changing priorities, interruptions and strict deadlinesSound judgement, discretion, and strong attention to detailAbility to work individually and collaborate as a member of a teamProactive and process-drivenData visualization experience would be an asset
