Description
We are looking for a Life Raft Technician to join our Spartan Industrial Marine team in Dartmouth, NS . Reporting to the manager, the Life Raft Technician prepares customer orders as per ISO and company work instructions ensuring quality standards are consistently met. Assists with various functions in the warehouse ensuring proper organization of warehouse and inventory/equipment.

Principle Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards Follow Quality Control Procedures as per ISO 9001:2000 during the inspection process Participate in inventory control (Complete cycle counts of inventory on a periodic basis) Maintain a safe work environment Follow customer Safety and Quality rules when working at a customer site Assist sales team in meeting sales and service targets
Education and Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform basic calculations Previous relevant marine experience and product knowledge an asset Willing to attain RFD and DFB Raft Certification within first year of employment Must hold a valid driver's license Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level Legally entitled to work in Canada
