St Barbara is searching for great people like you to fill an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) position (full-time, permanent) at the mill of our open-pit gold mine in Moose River Gold Mines, NS. At St Barbara, you'll be part of a team working safely to make enduring, positive impacts on your community and the world at large.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $41.97/hour Healthcare & dental plan and RRSP (after probation) 80 hours of vacation (after probation); more after 1 year Overtime hours available
Schedule
Full-time (36-48 hours/week) 4 days on, 4 days off 12-hour shifts, days and possibly nights Day shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Night shift: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Duties
Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment Participate in maintenance planning
Requirements
Licensed as a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or Block 4 Apprentice Class 5 driver's license, unrestricted Ability to do physical labour for extended periods
