Position: Intermediate .NET Developer

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: This is a hybrid position (2-3 days per week in office) at either our North York location (Consumers Road, near hwy. 404 and hwy. 401) or Burlington location (North Service Road between Walkers Line and Guelph Line).

Summary
Lifemark Health Group is seeking an enthusiastic Intermediate .NET Developer to join our dynamic Application Development Team in a permanent full-time position. This position reports to the Development Manager, Application Services. You will be mentored by peers to develop features and to support our Clinic Operations Division in software delivery of custom business solutions.

About You
You are an individual with technical skills and acumen who is willing and able to contribute at an intermediate level. You are a coding geek who enjoys working with C# and building reliable, bug free applications (especially for the web). You are committed to a career in creating applications using dot net and C#.

Your Tech Skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing, testing and debugging web apps using .NET core in the C# language (experience with .NET 4+ will be considered)

• Minimum 3 years of experience using Visual Studio (2017+)

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing applications using HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript

• Experience developing web applications using .NET MVC and OOP techniques

• Experience developing, testing and supporting a custom API and knowledge of HTTP verbs

• Experience with jQuery, and how to manipulate the DOM

• Experience with database models in MSSQL and writing queries

• Experience with GIT including branching, merging and resolving merge conflicts

• Attitude - you learn quickly, take constructive feedback / advice, adapt and apply knowledge

• Problem solver - you have an analytical mind that can notice patterns and deviations and use logic and imagination to provide possible solutions

Nice To Have
• A GitHub account that demonstrates your .NET knowledge and your web application skills

• Experience with T-SQL, writing stored procedures and challenging queries

• Experience with an ORM, code first and scaffolding

• Experience with OOD (Object Oriented Design)

• Experience with SSMS and using its debugging tools

Our technology stack is comprised mainly of: dot net core (6 & 7), .NET 4 Web Forms (some legacy apps), .NET MVC (with Razor), Web API, Telerik / Kendo UI components, CSS/SCSS, jQuery / JavaScript. Our main storage engine is MS SQL Server and some instances of Redis. Our hosting facilities are located on Azure with some lower traffic apps hosted on-premise.
